LOREAL LIP LINER AND LIP PAINT LACQUER

Hi guys,

This post is focused on the L’Oréal lip paint lacquer in shade 105 red fiction and the matching infallible long wear lip liner. The lacquer retails at £6.99 and the liner at £5.99.

The liner is very soft and I found it a lot less drying than the other pencils I usually use. It stopped any bleeding round the edges and also provided an excellent colour base. It does look like it should wind up and it took me ages to realise it sharpens.

The lacquer is a stunning shade and goes on very smoothly. The wand is designed in a shape so that it goes on very simply and the right amount of product is applied too! Again, it isn’t drying at all!

I did find that it transferred onto everything and needed re-applying after eating and drinking as it gets everywhere! The picture above is just after application and below is after eating my lunch.

One other disadvantage is that L’Oréal Paris is included on PETA’s list of companies that do test on animals!

BODY SHOP ADVENT CALENDAR 25 DAYS (DAY 6-10)

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!

This week we are still looking at the body shop advent calendar, but we are focused on days 6-10!

On day 6 I received a lip definer. On the box it said be a true original! It was a pink colour called clover. It was a very nice colour and matched my skin tone almost perfectly. It was soft, gave good coverage and was not drying!

On day 7, I received a pencil sharpener. It is very good. It is easy to empty, compact and doesn’t chew the pencils up!

On day 8, I got a coconut soap bar! Unfortunately,  I hate anything coconut. So, I added it to one of my friends Christmas presents! But I have used body shop soap before and they are lovely!  They smell great and do not dry your skin out!

On day 9, I got slanted tweezers. They are incredibly good! It was very easy for me to pluck my eyebrows due to the slanted end. I’m used to flat ended tweezers but I would highly recommend these slanted ones.

Finally, on day 10 I got strawberry lip butter. It soothes lips and smells lovely at the same time. However, it is not as soothing as the other body shop lip balms I have used previously.

Thanks for reading my post! Please come back next week for day 11-15 of the body shop advent calendar!

L’ORÉAL-LIP LINER COUTURE

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog.

This week I am telling you about the lip liners I have been using for the last few months. They are the L’Oréal lip liner couture.

These liners retail at £ 3.99, although I picked three up when there was 3 for 2 offer on the stand!

I have 630 beige a nu- a nude shade. 461 scarlet rouge- a red. Finally, I have 258 berry blush- which is a bright pink.

They are a pencil liner and come in very professional gold packaging. They are very easy to sharpen too.

I use them to line and fill my lips. If I am wearing a non matte product, I tend to line my lips again when the product is dry.

In my experience, it is best to not use them very sharp. If you use them when sharp, you get too much product and it’s hard to get clean lines.

They definitely stop my lipstick bleeding and make the colour bolder. Within the three liners, I can use them with all my lip products.

Thanks for reading my post. What brand are your lip liners?
